Meditation is a powerful inner tool that provides us with the opportunity to cultivate those states of mind that are conducive to peace and well-being and to recognize, reduce and abandon those that aren’t. Eventually we can learn how to be happy and peaceful no matter what is going on around us. Through simple regular meditation we can develop an inner joy and strength that we can carry into our daily life.
In these classes we will learn the basics of meditation so that we can successfully practice at home. Each week will include a short teaching followed by a meditation that can be found on the CD:s Meditations for Relaxation, Meditations for Clear Mind og Meditations for Kind Heart and occasionally a Lamrim meditation.

The classes are being taught by Mikael Jonsson who is a student on the Teacher Training Programme at the center.
He has been practicing meditation for several years and loves sharing the joy of meditation with others. He offers many practical insights on how to integrate meditation into everyday life to become more peaceful and happy.
The classes are taught in clear, easy-to-understand English and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to deepen and strengthen their meditation practice.
